ANIMALS IN THE DALAL STREET

"If there is a forest, lions, tigers, and leopards prowl to hunt for prey, and deer run for their lives, but if the sun sets, the animal which will survive to watch the new dawn will be determined by nature."
This is a famous quote from the Tamil movie "Vikram (2022)".
It actually comes to my mind, because of the post which we are going to see today.
"Animals in the Dalal Street". It is not like real animals But based on the activities and performance of certain groups of investors/traders, an analogical representation of animals was made.

Why waste time? Let's go deep into the topic.

1. BULLS:

This investor group always believes that the market will go up. Their approach toward the market is always Optimistic.
Bull Market: stock prices are rising and investor confidence is growing. Economic recovery or an economic boom.
Most investors would like to buy stocks in the bull market trend. Hence they are called Bulls of Dalal Street.

2. BEARS:

This investor group always believes that the market will go down. Their approach toward the market is always pessimistic.
Bear Market: stock prices are falling and investor confidence is fading. The economy is in recession.
Most investors would like to sell their stocks in the Bear market trend to avoid losses. Hence they are called Bears of Dalal street.

3. RABBITS:

This Investor group will participate in the market for a very short time. Investors with short-term goals may come under this category. They make short-term profits and leave the market. They are fast in buying and fast in selling and will have a clear short-term view of investing in the market. Hence they are called Rabbits of Dalal street.

This Investor group will participate in the market for a very long time. Investors with long-term goals may come under this category. They make long-term profits and leave the market. They are slow in buying and slow in selling and will have a clear long-term view of investing in the market. Hence they are called Turtles of Dalal street.

This group of investors is very impatient in investing and will look for short-term profits. They won't perform much research and they will find it difficult to survive in the market. These investors are greedy and will look for only profits. They are emotionally attached to the stocks and won't properly follow the news. usually, these kinds of investors face heavy losses in the stock market. Hence they are called Pigs of Dalal Street.

The sheep will follow what its flock does. Likewise, This group of investors will follow others who invest in the stock market. They don't have their own strategy they will be one of the members of the flock in the share market. They follow what the group follows. Hence, these types of investors are called Sheep of Dalal street.

8. EAGLES:

The eagles wait for the right opportunity to hunt their prey. Likewise, the investors in this group are neither bearish nor bullish. They will wait for the perfect opportunity to execute their plan and will make a profit from it. they are close watchers of the markets and invest at the right time. Hence they are called Eagles of Dalal Street.

9. WHALES:

This group of investors is extremely big investors with a huge amount of money. They have the ability to turn the market upside down.
